1 website, 1 hosting plan, easier management
Assignment
LC Systems previously ran two separate WordPress websites. Each one had to be maintained, updated and looked after individually, doubling the effort for content, plugins and updates.
The goal was to merge both sites into a single Webflow website and make day-to-day management much simpler for the marketing team.
Challenge
Two independent WordPress websites for Switzerland and Germany had to be migrated into a single Webflow project, while remaining available on both the .ch and the .de domain.
Solution
Both WordPress websites were migrated into one shared Webflow project. A Cloudflare proxy in front of it serves the content from this single project to both the .ch and the .de domain.
This eliminates the second hosting plan entirely and cuts running costs. Instead of two systems, each with its own plugins, updates and logins, there is now just one platform: content is managed in one place, and changes apply to both domains.
A new FAQ section answers the most important questions from prospects directly on the website. A new Brevo integration was also set up for the newsletter, so sign-ups on the website go straight into the newsletter list.
Technically, the website is cleanly built and scores between 97 and 100 in Google Lighthouse (desktop).
The result: One website, one hosting plan and much less management effort for both markets. The marketing team manages all content in one place and already builds campaign landing pages in Webflow on their own.
